The Platformer That Wants You to Fail

Welcome to a platformer just for the purposes of deception. Level Devil appears to be a mere walk to the exit door, but each floor, spike, and wall is out to get you. Platforms disappear while you're running on them, spikes pop out of the floor from behind you while you're in the air, and the controls switch when you're not looking. Do not trust, test it all, and be ready to die numerous times before you outsmart its wicked humor.

Survive Nearly 200 Levels in Level Devil

Level Devil is a game that takes place on almost 200 small levels that are organized in themed doors, and then you have to conquer three increasingly evil worlds.

Traps are introduced at the early levels, and then later platforms move after you land and doors turn your control upside down and send you on a path of spikes. There are ten secret keys that are concealed in odd places, some of which only appear when you purposefully fail. In a 2-player mode, you can set up additional hazards to wreck your buddy over five rounds.

Move: A/D or Left/Right arrow keys
Jump: W, Up arrow, or Space bar
Mobile: On-screen arrow buttons to move and jump button to jump

Tips & Tricks for Level Devil

Test every platform: Tap forward before committing, since floors often vanish the instant your foot lands.
Expect control flips: Left can become right mid-run, so make small movements before sprinting anywhere.
Stand still to learn: Pausing for a beat reveals which spikes, saws, or walls activate near you.
Distrust the obvious path: The clear route is usually the trap, and even the exit door can move.
Fail on purpose for keys: Some of the ten secret keys only appear when you lose in a very specific way.
